For last 6000 years feng shui has been practiced by people attempting to orient buildings in an auspicious manner to receive positive qi. The use of feng shui dropped out of popularity during the ‘cultural revolution’ in China, since then it has re-emerged as a trendy way for well-to-do city dwellers in all parts of the world to arrange their living spaces.
Most people imagine feng shui being used in the living space or office space but in fact the cooking space is one of the most important spaces to arrange properly. The cooking space is the life, soul and heart of the home, it provides nourishment for all of the family and brings the family together after a hard day’s work.
